About Me

I'm an enthusiastic programmer living in the Netherlands that started programming when I got into high school. Since then I've helped many people by building their perfect websites and web apps. I really like creating projects which makes difficult processes accessible to everyone.

A lot of my free time is spend working on open-source projects that are related to my interests like VR, console emulation and modding. I'm also interested in game development, rendering APIs like Vulkan/OpenGL and machine learning. I've always been very focused on learning and creating new things and I'm always looking for things to learn in my spare time.

Ported a game to the standalone Meta Quest

I've interned at Traffic & More to port a car driving simulator to the standalone Meta Quest VR headset. Optimizing the PC assets and rendering was a big success and the port now runs at 90 FPS on the Quest with newly developed VR controls.

Making mods for games

I've spent a lot of time modding games. For example, I added full ultrawide support, VR support, unlocking framerates (alongside others) and texture replacement hooks for OpenGL & Vulkan in The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

Writing software for game consoles

I made a few tools and games for the Nintendo Wii U that help users to get more out of their console. By developing these game engines and programs, I've learned how to get the most out of embedded hardware.
